We are looking for the right person to help us expand – someone who is both hands-on and takes a pragmatic approach to the role. The successful candidate will be given creative licence to develop branding and promotional materials for TCI projects such as capacity building courses, seminars, online toolkits and the like, as well as creating social media content to help us better connect with city-makers around the region. As an associate or senior associate, you will be required to design the look and feel of each of our courses, create content for our social media channels and help build Think City Institute as a brand. In addition you will oversee the digitisation of Think City’s body of work to ensure that our knowledge capture is relevant, and presented in a clear and logical manner.
Responsibilities
Working closely with brands and comms to design the look and feel of upcoming courses and promo materialsCreate templates for powerpoint for the courseDesign social media posts and course promotionsAble to perform basic video editing when required for various online courses or social media postsOverseeing digitisation of Think City’s project and programme files
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:Degree in any fieldMinimum years of experience:Associate:Fresh graduates welcomedSenior Associate:Typically 2-5 years of work experienceCompetencies:Highly motivatedFluent in English and MalayCompetence in graphic design, with strong creative instinctPossess good planning, organising, logical and ordered thought processHands-on attitude to problem solving and an eye for detailTeam player and willingness to learnTechnical knowledge and skills:Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop or other similar design softwareVideo editing skills
