In this position, you will support Refugee Community-Based Organisations (RCBOs) through institutional building, advocacy, and programme implementation.
Responsibilities
• Support and strengthen RCBOs through organisational development, project monitoring and administrative support• Work alongside RCBOs on advocacy and self-representation initiatives• Coordinate capacity-building activities and contribute to programme and project development• Support transparent and accountable use of community funds, including budgeting and reporting• Build and maintain relationships with community actors, civil society organisations, and funders• Manage casework and hotline services
Requirements
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Malay• Knowledgeable of issues related to women, migration and displaced populations• Compassionate and empathetic communicator• Strong attention to detail• Experienced in project planning and implementation• Able to multitask, organise, and set task priorities• Able to collect and analyse information for programme evaluation• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeGood to have:• Experience in non-profit community empowerment, community welfare or community building• Experience in advocacy and social work• Hands-on experience in interacting and working with refugees/non-profit projects
