Join the Perhentian Eco Education Project to teach environmental awareness to local children and tourists, while promoting conservation practices on the Perhentian Islands.
Responsibilities
Deliver classes (Computing, English, Roots & Shoots) at the local school.Develop syllabuses and lesson plans.Write weekly reports and create blog posts when needed.Assist with fundraising initiatives and volunteer/research activities.Help with eco-snorkelling, water confidence practices, and beach cleanups.Maintain communication, follow safety protocols, and help with household chores.
Requirements
Strong interest in teaching; prior experience is desirable.Excellent English communication skills; Bahasa Malay is a bonus.Highly organised, a team player, independent, adaptable.Comfortable working with children and basic IT competency.Interest in conservation and sustainability.
