Fugee School is seeking passionate and dedicated part-time teachers for Arts and Drama to teach primary and secondary school students. The role involves delivering engaging and creative lessons that encourage collaboration, creativity, and holistic development in a multicultural and refugee-inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that encourage creativity, collaboration, and holistic development- Plan, prepare, and implement creative learning activities and materials- Adapt lessons to accommodate students’ diverse backgrounds and learning needs- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and expression- Maintain classroom discipline through positive behaviour management techniques- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback- Participate in school events, performances, and extracurricular programmes- Collaborate with the wider teaching team and support holistic development strategies- Encourage confidence, emotional intelligence, and a growth mindset among learners
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in the relevant subject area (Arts or Drama)- Passionate about education and working with children- Energetic, creative, and open to non-traditional teaching methods- Fluent in English (spoken and written)- Willing and able to travel for school-related events and training- Comfortable working in a multicultural, refugee-inclusive environment
